A marketing strategist & web/graphic designer, Leighton’s passion is focused around constant innovation of that which influences and connects with the heart and mind of consumers. Founding several companies on and offline, Leighton Dees is an Internet & real estate entrepreneur. Co-Founder of ORACLE Real Estate in 2008, he strives to keep his companies at the forefront of where technology and real estate come together. Because of this passion, he joined the forces of Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate brand with his own firm in 2011. Understanding that excellence is obtained by design, not by default: he has built the foundation of his endeavors on the true understanding of the immeasurable value of a relationship.
He has served as an elected member of the Board of Directors of the Mobile Area Association of Realtors and currently for the Gulf Coast MLS Board of Directors. He has also served as the Chairman of the Local Realtor Association’s Technology Committee since 2010. In early 2012, Leighton was named “Entrepreneur of the Year” by the WCR Mobile Chapter while simultaneously profiling the cover of the national publication Real Estate Magazine published by RIS Media. In Jan 2013, Leighton was awarded the nomination by Inman News and Inman.com as a member of the Top 100 Most Influential Leaders in Real Estate at the ICNY Conference in New York City. In 2014, Leighton’s real estate brokerage was nominated as a Top 10 Finalist for the coveted Inman Innovators Awards in San Francisco California, where he and his business partner went on to win the national award for Most Innovative Real Estate Brokerage by Inman News and Real Estate Connect SF. Leighton then branched out and authored and founded the GENLIFE Real Estate Training Systems platform. Due to the constant push of today’s technology in unique marketing ways, his brokerage has received the Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Technology Award in 2012, 2013 & 2015 for the entire national brand.
